National Pollinator Week June 17-23, 2024

Pollinators

The mission of the Lake Erie Allegheny Partnership is to preserve biodiversity in the region. A very significant and vitally important part of that biodiversity is our pollinators.

Pollinators include birds, bees, butterflies, moths, flies, beetles, bats and some other mammals. Pollinators provide many important benefits to us including the delivery of ⅓ of our food and beverages. We are very fortunate in the LEAP region to have many unique resources from which to learn about and study our pollinators.

We aim to consolidate the wealth of information available about pollinators. Visit Pollinator Partnership to familiarize yourself with the who, what and why of pollination.

For a list of upcoming events in the region, please visit the event guide of the City of Cleveland's Office of Sustainability.
