Begins Friday, June 27 at 3 p.m. Join your friends and colleagues in a race against time to inventory as many species as possible in 24 hours! Find birds and frogs in swamps and bogs. Sign up to survey the species of your choice. Please bring snacks and water. Dinner will be provided Friday and Saturday. Pack a lunch for the field on Saturday. An area for camping will be available at no charge. On Saturday at 3 p.m. there will be a cookout to celebrate our accomplishments as we tally up the list of species.

What is a Bio-blitz? It is a survey of the biological residents of an area, including birds, plants, insects, reptiles, amphibians, and mammals. We will be surveying 109-acre Audubon Wetlands Preserve, a property acquired by Greater Mohican Audubon Society and deeded to Ashland County Park District.
Time: 8 am to 4 pm
